Ross
Set within one of Ross’s storied neighborhoods, this project centers on the sensitive refinement of a historic home—an exercise in honoring architectural heritage while shaping spaces for modern living. The design approach preserves the residence’s classical bones, celebrating original millwork, gracious proportions, and the quiet elegance that defines these early homes.
Throughout the interiors, a restrained palette of soft neutrals, layered textures, and tailored furnishings creates a sense of continuity from room to room. Formal spaces feel intimate rather than imposing: a richly paneled dining room glows under the warmth of crystal chandelier light, while the living room’s curved bay window draws the surrounding greenery inward, blurring the boundary between indoors and out.
Moments of contrast and character are introduced with intention. Custom cabinetry, sculptural lighting, and curated art selections provide visual punctuation without disrupting the home’s timeless narrative. In the bedrooms, serenity and comfort take precedence, expressed through gentle color stories, upholstered forms, and carefully balanced symmetry.
The result is a home that feels both grounded and refreshed—where historic details are not merely preserved, but elevated, and where contemporary life unfolds naturally within a framework of enduring design.
