Since launching Weaver Design Group ( in 1998, she has worked on high-end residential interiors throughout the country. "I enjoy mixing antiques with modern art or modern accessories," she said. "I love the use of color, but always want my rooms to feel fresh and timeless. I don't feel that my interiors date themselves, and I definitely don't do frilly well!"

She recounted the experiences of a client whose San Francisco home she designed; the couple recently moved to Marin County. While the style of the two abodes greatly differed, they were able to keep most of their furnishings. "It is one of my most favorite projects," said Weaver. "It is a testament to the fact that if you buy good pieces with simple lines, you can move them into many different environments."
